UK-Cyprus Enterprise Council - Overview and Objectives

The UK-Cyprus Enterprise Council (“UKCEC”) is an independent, voluntary, apolitical, not-for-profit organisation led by UK Cypriot entrepreneurs, professional people and philanthropists, which has the following main objectives:

To promote bilateral trade between the UK and Cyprus.
To promote a positive image of Cyprus in the UK (and internationally).
To promote inward investment into Cyprus.
To encourage the development of cross-border networks of UK and Cypriot entrepreneurs and businesses.
To support cultural and related initiatives aimed at enhancing Cyprus’s standing in the UK (and internationally).
To support philanthropic initiatives linked to the Council’s business and cultural activities.
To spearhead strategic events and initiatives designed to support the Councils’ promotional work.
To collaborate with the UK and Cyprus Governments and other UK- and Cyprus-based strategic bodies, including the broader UK Cypriot community, in order to facilitate the Council’s promotional work in the UK.
